A speeding hit-and-run driver blew through a red light and killed a hardworking immigrant on an e-bike, cops said Thursday — with the victim’s family members happening on the grim scene shortly afterward.

Hua Pan, 64, was riding east on Pierce Ave. and crossing Williamsbridge Road in Morris Park around 11:22 p.m. Wednesday when a white pickup truck speeding north on Williamsbridge Road slammed into Pan, sending him flying to the pavement, according to police.

Pan was following a green light and had right of way, cops said. After colliding with the e-bicyclist, the truck driver sped away, continuing north on Williamsbridge Road.

Responding officers found Pan, who lived less than 200 feet away on Pierce Ave., lying in the road with head trauma, according to police.

His son-and-law said he, and Pan’s daughter were returning home when they came across the accident. The couple’s 12-year-old came out of the house and saw the horrific scene.

“We passed by and saw he’s Chinese. Then we see the clothes are the same; jacket, same thing,” son-in-law Ken Ruo, 42, told the Daily News.

“My boy saw it. He couldn’t sleep the whole night,” he said of his son.

Medics rushed Pan to Jacobi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Pan came from China’s Fujian province and immigrated to the U.S. about 30 years ago, Ruo said.

The victim worked as a chef and had planned to retire once he turned 65.

“He’s a really nice guy,” Ruo said. “Every day off, he’s bringing the kids to the park. Very nice grandfather.

“Everyday, he would wake up at seven in the morning,” Ruo said as he and his wife began to cry.

There have been no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing.

“I hope someone can provide clues to the murderer, find the driver,” said the victim’s daughter, Yan Chai Pan, 38.
