With heavy hearts we are saddened to announce our beloved JAMES GERARD FERGUSON has passed away at the age of 83 in Boynton Beach, FL. He was a Retired New York City Police Detective and U.S. State Department Diplomatic Security Service Special Agent. The Brooklyn native is predeceased by his loving wife of 50 years, Maryanne (“Micki”) and leaves behind his cherished daughter Erin Marie, beloved grandson Michael James, sister Kathleen, and brothers Edmund, Michael and Laurence, cousin William O’Malley, as well as many nieces and nephews. When Irish eyes are smiling, the world seems bright and gay…Jim’s beautiful blue eyes always smiled and our world was better for it.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 11:00am til Noon at The Gardens of Boca Raton, 4103 North Military Trail, Boca Raton, FL 33431. A funeral service will follow immediately after at 12:00pm at the same location with viewing available online via live-streaming, please visit www.thegardens.com to sign-in for the broadcast.
