Collins Jr.; mother-in-law of Bronx ADA Mary Jo Blanchard; grandmother of Brady Padraig and Cassidy Ann. Daughter of the late Nora (Fahey) and John Hughes, Ballyglunin, Co. Galway. Graduate of Marymount School Neuilly sur Seine, Paris and Marymount College, Tarrytown. Former Secretary-Treasurer of Irish Press Corp. (Dublin). Retired teacher Marymount School, NY Archdiocese and NYC school systems. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. Funeral services entrusted to Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, Bronx, NY.
